I haven't posted here in a while, it's really been down to the awfulness of BT and our internet service provider. It's apparently working now, but I'm not betting on it for longer than about 30 minutes, so I'm just posting quickly now!
I've been really busy with uni anyway, so I haven't had much time to spend online. Our deadlines are coming up, and my animation is fairly close to being finished. Today we found out that the deadline is the 13th of December (our animation lecturer didn't bother to tell us that until today! He's not very... with it lol) but that's fine for me because I thought the deadline would be more like the first week of December, so we've got a bit longer than I thought. We've also been making a portfolio website (shame I've already got one!! lol) which has to be finished by the first week (can't remember exactly what date, I've got it written down in my folder somewhere) so I've been working on that too. I'll show everyone all of this stuff when it's finished.
Also I've become a bit makeup obsessed recently, despite having no money (I'm so utterly skint it's unreal) I keep buying it! I've bought some really lovely stuff recently and I've been trying out new brands (my favourite is still Bourgois Paris though, even though it's fairly expensive!) I also love this stuff by MAC:
Barbie loves MAC! I can't afford it, but I just like the website and the pictures. Anyway, bye for now!

Disney have got this new thing out for Disney Princess. It's called Enchanted Tales.
Please stop me from buying these ugly dolls! Hahaha I want them to make figurines. But they probably won't. Because they're mean :( So I'll end up resorting to buying fug dolls instead. Well the dolls aren't toooo bad, but I don't want dolls, I like figurines much better. The theme is basically Disney Princesses in gold outfits.
The second one is currently my desktop. MAKE FIGURINES! We want figurines! Not fugly dolls!

Here's some stuff I bought today... totally a pointless waste of money, but I love them! I found this adorable shop along the prom that sells like stationary stuff, and I had to buy pointless things! They had sparkles :D

Two weird experiences, one pretend, one real lol!
Real one: Went up to Derbyshire, up on the moors at around midnight. It was a really clear night and we could see SO MANY stars. I've never seen so many. You could also see the cloudy outline of the milkyway. And I saw a shooting star! Amazing! It was kind of unreal. But yeah! Awesome!
Fake one: Last night I had this bizarre dream that I was trying to have an affair with a teacher. I dunno who the teacher was, but he reminded me of that dark weird guy from Harry Potter, Snape lol! But he was being odd so it wasn't really an affair. But then it all turned into a book and some woman was saying how at the end of the story, he was actually really evil and didn't like me at all. My brain is so weird! Hahah!
Lois (family dog) has been poorly, and I got really upset about it because she's very old now. But he had some blood tests and they came back all clear. So hoping it's all okay and she'll get over it. I hope.

I don't really write in here so much now, oh well. I'm having a bad week so I guess I don't want to write about it! Things just keep going wrong! It bugs me. Also, don't you just hate it when people don't reply to emails? That really bugs me too. Hello! I took time out to write to you, and you haven't replied! You suck.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better. University is weird at the moment. Our tutors are like our equals, so it's difficult to know how to behave around them. It's like, they're our teachers, but they're also like our... colleagues. It's a confusing place to be! I bet some of us are older than them. Like I know I'm not, but one girl in my class is 35 (girl... I mean woman!) so she's probably older than one of our tutors. It's confusing! The merging of things confuses me. I remember being at school and calling our teachers by their last name, like 'Mrs. Smith' or whatever. Haha! Fizz says the kids where she works call her 'Miss'. I don't think I could cope with that. They just do it though because they have to.
Also, after you get a masters degree you're qualified to lecture. And I think they're gonna try and get us to lecture some of the first years. That's either gonna be really impossible/scary/wtfahhh or wow fun! I haven't decided which yet.

These little characters are going to be rather central in my life within the next year. I started my course today, and it seems like it's going to be awesome. I've decided I want to concentrate this year on online interactive experiences for children, and the Weebebes are going to hopefully be part of my final project. I want to propose my final project as an interactive website about the Weebebes for little girls, similar to websites that are online right now for products like Barbie and Bratz and stuff like that, where children can interact and play games, etc. So fingers crossed, my tutor will like the idea (I think she will).

Oops, I've totally neglected to write in my blog. I guess I haven't had much to write about. My course starts on Monday, and we're having a meeting at 10am. I'm not sure what's happened about enrolment, I officially enrolled online and paid my tuition fee while I was at Mum's the other day. But they said they had sent confirmation to my university email address, but I don't have the password or username for my address, so it's pretty darn useless at the moment. I really don't know, I'm just talking to my course leader and doing things through her, because so far admin have been really bad. I don't think it matters so much for postgrads, it's mostly about the undergrads and getting them all up to date on the system and formally this, that and the other, for the postgrads it doesn't matter so much, as long as you're paying and you've enrolled. They pretty much just let you get on with it I think. There was supposed to be a meeting tonight for the postgrads, but they cancelled it so that 'late applicants' could also attend. You shouldn't have applied so late then, god! Haha.
I really want to have a halloween party! I might ask Al tonight if he'd mind us hosting it in our flat. I think me and Fizz will organise it, but I think it would be cool and exciting! I've already thought of about 20 people I could invite, but I might have to cut it down a bit, I don't want our whole flat to get trashed and something awful. It would be so fun though! I want to be... Jessica Rabbit! Hahah!

Nobody ever updates their journals now :( Abby? Mary? Where the hell are you? haha! Is Mary away or something? She's usually all over the internet more than I am. Like a gazillion pieces of art and things for her shoppe. Now because of you lot I've become a sad loser and I'm listening to Enrique Iglesias. Look what you've done!! haha.
Well seeing as Phil is the only one who reads this gobshite, I'll address it all to him! Hello! Hmm well today I rode around for ages on my bike, and got a bit lost around this really dodgy area, but it was fun anyway! It was nice and sunny. There's this huge bike line that runs around the whole of Cheltenham, but some bits are really up hill, which is hard to ride up, and some bits look like they're going into someone's house, so you don't really want to ride down that. So eventually I turned back. Riding a bike is good exercise though, me and Fizz are going to ride somewhere fun on Thursday.
We just went to the pub and laughed about funny men haha. That's all we do really, laugh about men. It's men's fault for being so funny. We were laughing about her dumb ex, Simon, the one me (and everyone I told about him) hated, cus he's gross and picks at himself and some other yucky things. His ailments are generally just nasty. So that was funny cus we just bitched about that. He was apparently annoyed that I'm going to Alison's wedding with her and not him, but duh, I'm her lesbian life-partner! Get over it haha. And he was more annoyed that we're staying at her ex boyfriend's house on Saturday night, and he was like, stay at my house! And Fizz was like no. Because he might infect us with his gross diseases or something, or generally try and rape her in the middle of the night because she won't go out with him. But I think he's just thinking she might get together with her ex or something, but that won't happen, cus her ex is a rival in twat of the universe with Simon. Her ex is SO stuck up, we once went out for her birthday, me, Fizz, Al and Prash (ex) and afterwards Al was like 'Wow he's a twat' hahah! And I'm like, yah. Because he did stuff like, when they were dating, he complained about the gift she bought him for their anniversary, which is so lame, since when do men care about what gift they get given for the anniversary? As if ANY men remember anniversaries anyway? See, she keeps dating complete girly pussy mummy's boys. She needs to date real men, I've said this before, but god. Date someone more manly than your girlfriends, for a start. Not someone that has to call their mum 20 times a day and gets prissy about the anniversary gift you buy them. I mean, how do these people even exist? Okay I'll stop ranting now.
Anyway, the punchline is, Gina started dating this guy that's in the marines, so we're like, yes, sexy! Manly! Army = yumyum! I saw his picture and he's really not my type, but it was like, yay, he seems nice! So then she goes round his house, and the next morning he says 'Wanna give me a blow job before you leave?' HAHAHAHA WHAT THE FUCK.

I'm addicted to ACDC lately, I have no idea why. Next weekend me and Fizz are going to another wedding, seeing as we ARE lesbian life-partners haha. Mum was like 'Megan Clare if you keep going to weddings with a woman people will think you're a lesbian'. I disagree. I clearly haven't shaved my head and I don't dress like a man. And when I go to weddings with my fake lesbian life-partner we don't hold hands, or snog, or nowt. I couldn't be a lesbian anyway, I spend too much time weeping over the fact that I can't have all the men in the world. Would a lesbian ever do that? I doubt it.

Yay for bank holiday weekend :D It's been really lovely and sunny, but actually, surprisingly quiet. Whenever it's a bank holiday weekend and the sun comes out, all roads are gridlocked and everyone goes a bit mad trying to do lots of things and drive everywhere, but this weekend has been pretty much okay. Today we went to Cotswold Wildlife Park, which was really lovely, except the amount of kids, but I expected that. I think the only people there without children were 1) me and Al, 2) This old man who appeared to be alone and 3) A guy and a girl who looked about 18. So yeah. Nobody else likes visiting animals except people with children haha! It's a shame though because the animals were lovely. There was a tiny newborn baby meercat! Aww!
Friday night I went out with Fizz and Gina and it was okay. There was this group of men who claimed to all be policemen, but I'm not sure if they really were. They were acting SO dumb that if they really were policemen I really have no respect for the law any more haha. One of them kept talking to me but he had really bad breath and kept looking annoyed with me all the time. It's like, whatever, I don't even know you, please stop spitting in my face. It was nice to see Gina though, haven't seen her in ages. She has such a buzzing social life compared to me and Fizz though. We generally just spend time together, whereas she seems to have a gazillion friends. I think it's just because I'm really rubbish at keeping in touch with people. I am going to make more of an effort now though. I even text Pete! We're going to go out for his birthday, and hopefully I'll see Marie, and also Tim.
Off to the beach tomorrow! Yay. The new site is going well, I've finally designed a layout. I'm SO fussy about layouts that it takes me forever and lots of frustration to get it to look like I want it. So now that the layout is done, it will all be done soon. Hopefully!

Guh, time with family is always something I look forward to, but then once it's coming to an end I can't wait to get home. I think I find it hard visiting my parents now though because I totally lead my own life and have my own home, and they treat me like a child, because I'm their daughter. My grandmother does it too, the only person who doesn't really is my aunt. I know WHY they do it, but it still annoys me. I think it's the same for everyone though; they've watched you grow up, so they always treat you as an inferior person. They can't help it.
My new baby cousin Charlie is very cute! I only got to hold him once, because my grandma hogs babies. I think she's worried she won't get to see some of her grandchildren again, so she tries to make the most of it. She's 74, and it must be weird knowing that you've nearly finished your life. For me and my friends, life just spans out before you and you've got loads of time to do whatever you want. But when you're old, it's not like that. You have to try and make the most of everything. But then I was watching a program the other day about the oldest people in the world, and some of them were like 110, 112 and 113 years old. They hated it though because some of them had outlived their children and all of their friends. I think that's kind of sad.
The broadband STILL doesn't work! I'm about to strangle someone lol. Someone from BT. It's been a month since it was activated! Eejits! On a more positive note, Fizzy dumped Simon (hurray!) but now I just have to convince her to keep him dumped, and not take him back because he puts on a puppy-dog face. She had good reasons to dump him, she needs to keep those in her mind!

Okay I've decided that in the very near future I'm going to make an art portfolio website where I can display all my art and have all my details, etc, in one place. I'm getting tired of having DA for CG drawings, and Graphic Dolls for pixel art. I think it's messy, so I'd like to have a site that combines it all. Also I think it's important to have a website that's a portfolio rather than just for the 12 year-old masses. So sadly this means the end of Graphic Dolls. I'll update it one last time once I get broadband (soon, god damn it! soon!) and then start working on my portfolio site. I start my postgrad course in about a month though, so hopefully I can get the majority of it done before I'm bogged down with huge amounts of coursework. I don't have a title just yet, I do have one that I think would be good, but we'll see, I might come up with a better one later. But yeah, this site will have everything on it, and don't worry, all my dolls and bases will have a place on that site too, I'm not giving up dolls, I'm just combining my DA account with my dolls website.

I'm posting about cars today to make me feel better about recent annoyances *grinds teeth*.
The new Audi Q7 is absolutely beautiful. Nuff said, end of blog entry. Nah, just kidding lol.
I encountered this beautiful car for the first time in Bakewell, Derbyshire. We were walking from the car park down this lane that leads into the village, and outside these set of flats there was a Q7 sat there, to the right of my path. It was one of those double take moments, and it felt like walking past an elephant that's like a few inches away from you, and you feel the need to duck, because it's so like... whoa! The Q7 has real presence. I felt the need to stare for a while. It really is beautiful. These photos don't really do it justice, actually. The release colour is silver, but I like the black ones better. The first one I saw was black. It's funny actually, about release colours. Volvo's s60 release colour was actually gold, like our Volvo. It's like Volvo is official hehe. Sorry, off topic.
They were bitching about the Q7 on Top Gear, but I've realised they bitch about EVERYTHING on that show haha. They bitch about BMW's for fucks sake. The BEST BMW'S. So... whatever to them. I mean they bitched about the BMW 1 series, which I can understand, because it's missing half it's bum, and it's extremely expensive compared to other cars in it's class. If you're going to get a brand new BMW you may as well go all out and actually get a good/huge one, instead of a crappy little 1 series that you could get with a different brand name for half the price. I agree that's pointless. But everything else, they're wrong on. For a start, they said the Q7 is ugly. I mean, okay bitch about the steering or the suspension or something, but my GOD don't you DARE call it ugly! No! Just no! lol
SUV's that aren't very off-road-like are a bit of a trend at the moment though. Volvo has a new one, and BMW has one, the X5. The Volvo one is a bit boring and average looking, and obviously there's the Lamborghini one but don't even go there, so the Q7 wins. I would find out the top speed but top speed is irrelevant when you're talking about an 'SUV'. Environmentalists obviously hate them because they're more for taking kids to school than for actual off the road stuff. In fact, the picture of the Q7 is hilariously misleading, because there's no way in hell I'd take that car off the road haha. The Q7 can take me to school any day! With my pretend children! lol
